Jury Returns Guilty Verdict in 30 Million Dollar Lawsuit

On Tuesday, a jury returned a guilty verdict in a $30 million lawsuit over a school bus crash that killed a 9-year old boy.

The jury awarded $5 million to Lilly Beauchamp and $5 million to Simon Beauchamp for the death of their son, Aaron.

He was killed in a school bus crash in St. Lucie County in 2012.

The jury found the school district and Cypress Trucking negligent in the crash.

The district is 87 percent negligent and pay 87 percent of the damages.

The trucking company is 13 percent negligent and will pay 13 percent of the damages.
