Ceremonies Held in Tallahassee for Missing Children’s Day

Ceremonies were held in Tallahassee Monday for the 17th annual Missing Children’s Day.  Governor was the keynote speaker.

During the event, Donna Uzzell (you-ZELL) with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement presented a special award to a pair of Bassett Hounds named Earle and Cletus who tracked an autistic boy lost in the backwoods of Brevard County.

41 thousand children are reported missing in Florida each year, but only a handful are abductions. Most are runaways.
