Sergeant-Gary-Morales-Killed in the line of duty
Proceedings continue today in the murder trial of 27 year old Erise Tisdale in Fort Pierce.
He is accused of killing St Lucie County Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Morales during a traffic stop in 2013. Tisdale claims it was self defense.
His attorney is seeking a delay in the start of the trial saying more time is needed to prepare. The judge is expected to making a ruling today.
Meantime, Tisdale has been moved to the Martin County Jail due to what has been termed a conflict of interest.
