The St Lucie County Sheriff’s Office says former Treasure Coast High School teacher Dominic Madison has pleaded no contest to five felonies.

His plea took place Monday in St. Lucie County Circuit Court.

The 38 year old Madison, of Fort Pierce, entered the no contest to plea to four counts of sexual activity with a minor and one count of using a child in a sexual performance.

Madison has been jailed since his October 2012 arrest.

The St. Lucie County School District fired him a month after his arrest.

Under a plea agreement, Madison will face up to 15 years in prison, followed by probation. He will be sentenced December 11.
