The air conditioning at the Indian River Medical Center is working again.
The medical facility said in a statement to CBS 12, the operating rooms are in the normal temperature range.
The problem started Saturday when the chiller alarms went off to alert staff of low water pressure. Crews found a broken water pipe.
Later that night, leaders placed the hospital on diversion, sending patients to Sebastian River Medical Center, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Tradition Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center.
By Sunday, the hospital began cancelling surgeries and other procedures through Tuesday.
Patients were also funneled to its walk-in facilities in Vero Beach and Sebastian.
