STUART, FL – November 12, 2015 – Stuart Main Street is pleased to announce its next Mornings on Main Street will include a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newly completed Riverwalk Extension. The FREE bi-monthly networking breakfast will be held Thursday, November 19 from 8:00-9:00 am at Stuart City Hall, 121 SW Flagler Avenue in Stuart. The program will begin in the city commission chambers and move to the Riverwalk Stage for the ribbon cutting. The new Riverwalk Extension continues the popular downtown waterfront boardwalk from the Riverwalk Stage at the foot of St. Lucie Avenue to Colorado Avenue.
As part of the celebration, breakfast speakers will provide updates related to the Downtown Stuart waterfront. Topics will include the public-private partnerships that made the Riverwalk Extension possible; new economic opportunities on Seminole Street, Downtown Stuart’s waterfront road; and the start of the new Rock’n Riverwalk free waterfront concert series; plus the reasons to shop local for the holidays.
The event is sponsored by HJA Design Studios with a light breakfast provided by Stuart Coffee Company.
Mornings on Main Street is a bi-monthly FREE networking event held the fourth Thursday in January, March, May, July, and September and the third Thursday in November. This “must attend” event focuses on Downtown Stuart with real information on current topics and an opportunity to meet like-minded people with a shared concern for Downtown Stuart.
