A Port St Lucie man faces grand theft, drug and other charges following an investigation that the company he worked for requested.
Police were told by the Tamlite Group that Jeffrey Alan Limerick was stealing light equipment from their St Lucie West warehouse. An undercover detective went to work on the case and was introduced to Limerick. While a deal was arranged to purchase the stolen equipment, Limerick allegedly said he was looking for a marijuana dealer. A meeting was scheduled to purchase the marijuana and lighting equipment when Limerick was arrested.
A search warrant led to recovery of some 20 thousand dollars worth of equipment believed to have been stolen from Tamlite at his SW Dactyl Street home.
