The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society family is mourning the loss of Mirasol, a beloved 14-year-old female Florida panther.
Vets at the zoo had to put her down Thursday after diagnosing her with paralyzed back legs.
The zoo staff thinks it indicated kidney failure and led to severe pain and seizures with no hope of recovery.
