A man was shot in his arm Monday afternoon in Vero Beach.
A neighbor or a person in the area of the 1800 block of 41st Avenue called 911 about 3 p.m. to report a shooting.
The injured man was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce as a trauma alert. His injuries were non-life-threatening.
Officers searched Monday afternoon for the shooter. The shooter possibly got away in an SUV, No description of the shooter was available.
