Port St. Lucie Police actively searching for suspect of a sex crime against a 12-year old boy.
On January 4, 2016 at around 2:05 pm, Port St. Lucie Police went to the area of NW Brenda Circle and NW Wolverine Road for reports of an unclothed 12-year old boy calling for help. Police located the boy who was being helped by a resident in the area and began their investigation.
During the initial contact with the victim, police learned that the boy was walking in the 5900 block of NW Brenda Circle when he was confronted by an unknown male suspect. The man lured the boy into the woods and subsequently molested the boy. The suspect then fled the scene on foot last seen headed north on NW Wolverine Road.
Port St. Lucie Police set up a perimeter around the area and deployed a police K-9 in an attempt to locate the suspect. St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office air unit also assisted in the search for the suspect.
Police are looking for a white male, standing approximately 5’5” to 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 215-pounds, brownish black hair, grown out buzz-type hair cut, wearing a white shirt and green shorts.
