North Palm Beach eye doctor Salomon Melgen, under indictment in two different federal cases, is closer to getting out of jail.
But on Wednesday, an agreement on bond had not been reached between the judge and the attorneys working.
The ophthalmologist, who also has an office in Port St Lucie, is accused of healthcare fraud here.
The feds say Melgen made false diagnoses, to rip off Medicare and insurance companies for millions.
Melgen also faces federal corruption charges in New Jersey, along with his friend, U.S. Senator Robert Menendez.
Melgen’s bond hearing resumes on Thursday.
