Why: The City’s Emergency Operations Center is now closed. City Hall has reopened as of 8 a.m. and will resume regular hours of operation.

Hotlines:
The City has deactivated its Emergency Operations Hotline. Residents with questions can call the main City Hall phone number at 772-871-5225.
- Sign Crews are doing an initial assessment of traffic signals and major roadways which should be completed by 2 p.m. All traffic signal heads are being rehung and reinstalled today.
- Building Department conducted an assessment throughout the city immediately following the storm. Staff was relieved to find negligible damage throughout the City.
Openings and Hours of Operation:
- Citywide collection will resume on Thursday, September 5, when the St. Lucie County Landfill reopens for business. If your garbage service was Tuesday, your next pickup will be Friday. If your garbage pickup was Wednesday, your next pickup is Saturday. Recycling for these routes should also be Friday and Saturday respectively. If your garbage pickup day is Thursday it will be picked up Thursday, September 5.

The Police Department have resumed normal patrol operations and response to calls for service.

Utility Systems Department’s Call Center (772-873-6400) is fully staffed and available 24 hours a day. Utility Systems is in the process of assessing any damage to Utility sites.
- Parks & Recreation Facilities (Civic Recreation & Humana Fitness & Wellness Center, Community Center & Community Fitness & Wellness Center, Robert E. Minsky Gymnasium, and all City Parks) are open to the public during normal business hours today, except for The Saints Golf Course. The Saints remains closed to the public today, Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Please see below for more details on the anticipated re-opening of the Saints.
- The Saints Golf Course intends to be reopened to the public tomorrow, Thursday, September 5, 2019, per normal business hours and will be opened for play on the cart path only. This reopening depends on the amount of rainfall received today, Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
- Today, September 4, 2019, C-24 Canal Park and Oak Hammock Park resume normal operating hours. Both facilities will be closed as of sunset daily per normal operating hours. Veterans Park at Rivergate remains open to the public 24 hours daily.
