Port St Lucie Police say they found a 6-month-old baby wrapped in a blanket laced with marijuana during a drug raid.
Four people, including the baby’s mother, have been arrested.
The raid happened Friday at a home on SW Amethist Terrace.
Investigators say they found the baby in a blanket containing marijuana droppings. Authorities also said the home had mold growing on the walls and cockroaches everywhere.
The baby is now in the custody of the state.
Maranda Lynn Bailey, the baby’s mother, has been charged with child neglect. 24 year old Jermaine Junior Anselme and Ashleigh Renee Johnson, who is 23, face child neglect and other charges. Norman Lanel Holley, 25, faces drug charges.
