$25,000 putting contest and more at Martin County Golf Course Grand Re-opening, Saturday, March 19
Martin County Golf Course will celebrate recent renovations with a $25,000 putting contest sponsored by Dania Carlyle – Allstate Insurance. In addition, the winner of the “closest to the pin” contest, sponsored by Valley Crest Landscaping and Maintenance will take home $500 (rules, terms, and age restrictions apply to contests offering cash prizes).
The event, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Martin County Golf Course, 2000 St. Lucie Blvd. in Stuart will also feature a Family Scramble, sponsored by Don Law Golf Academy, a golf gear “swap meet”, prize wheels, FootGolf, Birdie Golf, Golfzilla, $1.50 hot dogs and FREEBIES.
In particular, everyone who signs up for the Martin County Golf Course Newsletter will receive a FREE round of golf, and kids 12 and under accompanying their parents will get two free day passes to Sailfish Splash Waterpark.
For the “Swap Meet,” individuals and organizations with surplus golf gear for trade or sale should reserve a table while supply lasts by emailing canderso@martin.fl.us.
Staff from Don Law Golf Academy will discuss and provide information about summer golf camps, Junior PGA, kids lessons, and camp scholar ships.
Staff from Martin County Parks & Rec will be on hand to explain the new Martin County Golf Course “Charity Tournament Service” that will help benevolent, not-for-profit organizations maximize funds raised from charity golf tournaments.
The day will culminate with the $25,000 putting contest, sponsored by Dania Carlyle – Allstate Insurance, followed by a 9-hole, Family Scramble, sponsored by Don Law Golf Academy.
