On August 20, Port St. Lucie Police arrested Brandon Lee Latalladi for burglary and grand theft after he stole an Xbox 1 that he found for sale on Craig’s List.
The victim called police and told them that he posted his Xbox 1 on Craigslist. A potential buyer, Latalladi, came to his house and as the victim went back inside his house for some accessories, Latalladi grabbed the gaming system and fled the area without paying. Police located and arrested Latalladi. The Xbox was recovered.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department is a Safe Haven for Online Transactions and invites citizens to use the Port St. Lucie Police Department parking lot and facilities to conduct online sales transactions. The goal of the Safe Haven location is to prevent or decrease the opportunity of crime that are associated with online transactions.
