Woman Tries to Hawk Stolen Items on Facebook

Police in Port St. Lucie say a woman tried to hawk stolen items on Facebook.

Police say Lillian Baylum shoplifted more than $600 worth of handbags from the Burlington Coat Factory on St. Lucie West Boulevard. Authorities launched the investigation after seeing the stolen items on Facebook.

When approached by detectives, Baylum said she had an accomplice identified as Clarence Terrell Ghee.

Ghee has been in the Brevard County jail since Aug. 11 following his arrest for petit theft at an Old Navy store.

Baylum is being held at the St. Lucie County jail.
