Woman sexually battered near the Prima Vista Marina in Port St. Lucie
A St. Lucie County Deputy, on routine patrol, observed a vehicle parked in the dirt parking lot at the marina at approximately 9:30 pm last night. As the deputy approached the vehicle, he observed a female lying on the ground next to the vehicle. She appeared to be in distress. Her clothing was torn. St. Lucie County Fire / Rescue was called and the female was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The only suspect description given was possibly a Hispanic male. The area was searched with several K-9 units. Unfortunately no suspect was located.
