Westwood High School Student Arrested for Bringing Guns, Drugs to School
Eric Ronald San Nicolas was arrested today for bringing guns and drugs to school. He is 18 and an 11th grade student at Westwood High School
A tip from a parent and student led school resource deputies to San Nicolas. He allowed deputies to search his vehicle. San Nicolas allowed the deputies to search his car.
A 9 mm and .45 caliber assault rifle, an AK-47, a .45 caliber and .380 caliber hand gun and a pellet gun were located in the trunk. In addition, 12 grams of marijuana, 5.5 Xanax bars, a scale and a ceramic pipe were also located.
San Nicolas has no prior criminal history.
He was arrested at the school and charged with possession of a weapon on school property, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
San Nicolas was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail where he is being held in lieu of a $27,750 bond.
