The state fire marshal’s office has finished its report on the huge fire and explosions at the Viesel Fuel plant in Stuart in April.
The fire and several explosions rocked the plant on SE Dominica Terrace April 1.
The state fire marshal’s office now puts the damage at $750,000.
Their report says there was no conclusive evidence to indicate a specific cause for this fire.
The fire has been classified undetermined.
They did find a possibility that overflow from one of the tanks containing biofuel or methanol could’ve reacted with foam insulation and this had the potential to self-ignite.
