High school football, Vero Beach did it! The Fighting Indians defeated Chaminade-Madonna 21-0 for their 60th regular season win in a row. That ties a state record set be Lakeland. Vero Beach will look to break the record when they play Fort Pierce Central next week. In other games, Jensen Beach defeated Fort Pierce Central 28-7. South Fork rolled past West Boca Raton 48-7. Westwood defeated Okeechobee 27-7. Treasure Coast dominated Cardinal Newman 42-12. Martin County struggled at home, falling to Royal Palm Beach 34-6. And Sebastian River shut out Port St Lucie 13-0.
