Suspects BUSTED for multiple vehicle burglaries within the Village of Wellington over the past 5 months
An ongoing investigation led to the arrests of two suspects terrorizing the Village of Wellington with vehicle burglaries.
Nigel Campbell and a 15 year old juvenile were arrested today for multiple vehicle burglaries that have occurred, in developments, within the Village of Wellington; Grand Isles, Equestrian Club, Castellina, Olympia, Village Walk and Wellington Shores. At the time of their arrest, Campbell was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm and the juvenile was found to be in possession of a stolen knife. Property was also discovered that had not been reported yet.
Detectives estimate that these suspects were involved in at least 40 vehicle burglaries in a 5 month period. Items stolen were guns, credit cards, cash, IPhones, bikes, etc. Investigation is ongoing.
