Stuart Police searching for person who injured pet cat

Stuart, Fl- Stuart Police are asking for assistance to identify a suspect that injured a pet cat.

On June 24, Officers received a report of a cat that was injured. The owner reported that her pet Tinka had gone missing on Friday, June 21.

On Monday, she located Tinka near her residence in the area of the 600 block of SW Bryant Avenue. Unfortunately, the cat had sustained a wound to her leg that was caused by a projectile of some sort. Due to the extent of her injuries, Tinka’s leg had to be amputated. It is unknown what type of weapon was used.
