Stuart Police are re-activating a cold case that goes back 30 years.
19 year old Gregg Allen Haskell vanished in 1985.
His mother sent him money to take a bus back home to Wisconsin. He was supposed to arrive after April 21, 1985. He never made it.
Investigators say there’s no record of him actually buying a bus ticket and police said he was last seen walking westbound on East Ocean Boulevard in Stuart.
Right now, there’s no evidence of foul play in his disappearance.
Authorities say there’s been no record of any activity for Haskell since 1985.
Investigators plan to submit evidence in the case to the national DNA database with the hope that advances in technology will help generate a break in the case.
