Enjoy a morning or afternoon of free music performed by the Stuart Community Concert Band under the direction of Jim LeBon on Saturday, December 5. These delightful festive performances by this 100 year old community band will begin at 11:00 a.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. at the Blake Library in the John F. Armstrong Wing, 2351 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart. The auditorium will be transformed into a musical winter wonderland as the band plays a collection of holiday and band favorites including ‘Sleigh Ride,’ ‘Greensleeves,’ and ‘The Nutcracker.”
In addition to delightful music, the Palm City Cookie Ladies will provide an assortment of homemade cookies to attendees. This wonderful group of volunteer ladies has been baking and serving refreshments and decorating the stage for the Band’s holiday performances at the Blake Library since 2004.
Seating is limited, so free tickets are required. Tickets will be distributed Monday, November 30 from
4 – 6 p.m. in the Blake Library. A maximum of two tickets per person will be available. Any remaining tickets after that date and times will be available at the Blake Circulation Desk.
