St. Lucie county remains under a countywide rabies alert.
As a result, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County is having a special rabies vaccination clinic Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM at their office located at 8890 Glades Cut Off Road in Port St Lucie. The first 50 animals to arrive at the event will receive free rabies vaccinations. After the first 50, the rabies vaccinations will only cost $10.00.
In addition to making sure your pets are vaccinated, the Humane Society also recommends to not let your pets run free, and to avoid petting or feeding wild animals.
