A settlement has been reached with 10 of the families of the victims of El Faro.

El Faro is the ship which sank while sailing from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico when it ran into Hurricane Joaquin in the Bahamas last October.

Many families did not take the settlement including Pastor Green who lost his stepson Leshaun Rivera.

The families who settled will each get $500,000.

33 people died after the ship sank and many of the bodies have not been recovered.
