The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Shred-a-thon event January 19 from 10am to 1pm.
Residents can bring up to three banker boxes of unwanted personal documents that we will shred on site free of charge.
If you have more than three boxes, a $10.00 per box fee will apply with proceeds going to the Sheriff’s Office DARE Program.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says that shredding your unwanted documents is an important step towards protecting your identity from identity thieves.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is located at 800 SE Monterey Road in Stuart.
