The Port St. Lucie City Council is inviting the public to a Sept. 11 Remembrance service on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Civic Center.
Anyone who suffered a personal loss on 9-11 are invited to be seated in a designated area to honor their loved ones.
The ceremony will include several speakers and a rifle salute.
After the service, there will be a display of Sept. 11 memorabilia inside the Civic Center where refreshments will be served.
