Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -The Port St. Lucie Police has reported that a bottle of wine and a blown out tire lead to a DUI Arrest.
This is what they said:
Monday morning at 12:42am, Officers located a vehicle in the 9900-BLK of SW Village Pkwy with front bumper damage and a blown out tire. Officers learned the driver was on her way to visit a friend in Port St. Lucie when she struck the roundabout at SW Village Pkwy/SW Westcliffe Ln. The driver continued traveling but did not make it too far on 3 tires and 1 rim. The driver finally drove over a curb and parked her vehicle on the sidewalk.
Officers arrived on scene and found the driver attempting to change her tire. A DUI investigation was completed, which revealed the driver was more than 2 times the legal limit. Officers also located an open bottle of Chardonnay nearby the vehicle which was half full.
