Port St. Lucie Police Department is again warning  residents to lock their cars.

Last Thursday, officers said there were reports of 8 cars burglarized in the southwest side of the city.

Victims on SW Darby Lane, SW McDevitt Avenue, SW McKim Street, SW Kolsted Street, SW McCracken Avenue, SW McComb Avenue, SW Jarmer  Road, and SW Kakopo Street all reported having their cars burglarized overnight Wednesday.

Officers say to  lock your belongings, but also remove valuables from your vehicle.

Police are asking you to call Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
