Paramedics are Seeing too Many Accidents Involving Bicycles

St Lucie County paramedics will tell you they’ve seen too many accidents involving bicyclists.

On Wednesday, a bicyclist was struck by a car at NW Kilpatrick Avenue and NW Heather Street in Port St Lucie.

On Thursday, paramedics were called to two accidents; the first at Orange Avenue and US1 in Ft.  Pierce, the other one at SE Westmorland blvd. and SE Pine Valley Street in Port St. Lucie.

In all three cases, the three riders were hospitalized, two of them sent to trauma centers.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.
