Noble Shoes Destroyed in a Fire
One person is being treated for burns after a shoe store caught fire in Stuart Wednesday evening. The fire happened at Noble Shoes on South Colorado Avenue.
Traffic was at a crawl during rush hour traffic as fire crews battled the blaze and police closed the street near SE Federal Highway to give crews space to fight the flames. Several businesses were evacuated for precaution. Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control after 3 long hours, and prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings.
Noble Shoes has been working with local physicians for over 4 generations. They would fit, manufacture and modify any footwear, foot, heel and ankle appliances and braces by a Doctor’s prescription.
I had many friends that came from far away to get the correct shoes for their medical condition.
Great job Stuart Fire and Martin County Fire Rescue in saving other structures and working so hard to keep the Nobile Shoe fire contained.
