PORT ST. LUCIE – UF/IFAS St. Lucie County’s Cooperative Extension staff wants to teach you how to grow vegetables and herbs at the Morningside Branch Library on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m.

Do you want to grow herbs and vegetables, but don’t want to do it the traditional way? Maybe you don’t have a lot of space to grow? Are you tired of bending down to garden or just want to try something different? Try making your own “Burkey” Bucket.

Come to this workshop at the Morningside Branch Library, located at 2410 S.E Morningside Blvd., to learn many techniques such as hydroponic, floating and bucket gardening.

This workshop is free, but registration is required. For more information call Kate O’Neill at the UF/IFAS St. Lucie County Extension 772-462-1660 or kasmi@ufl.edu.
