A lightning strike punched several holes in a home in Jupiter Monday afternoon. The severe weather strike damaged some roof tiles and drywall at the home on Citadel Circle.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue District Chief Tony Tozzi says the family was home at the time, but made it out safely. The family went to a neighbor’s house.
The strike happened during a fast-moving storm which dropped heavy rain across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast yesterday afternoon
