HSTC Pet of the week Feb 16: Joe
At around 13 years old, Joe is a sweet senior poodle and cocker spaniel mix. While he is mostly deaf, he is otherwise a happy healthy guy. Joe came into the care of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast when his owner began taking care of her young grandchildren. Unfortunately, Joe does not care for the quick movements of very young children and would snip in warning. He is very affectionate with older children (10 years and older preferred) and adults; he loves to be by your side . Don’t let his age fool you; Joe still has a playful streak and enjoys playing with plush squeaky toys. According to his previous owner, Joe is respectful of cats and adores other dogs. He is already crate trained and house-trained. Joe has quickly become a volunteer favorite – he has had many outings around town over the past week to help him find his perfect fur-ever home.
