Hot Dogs, Cool Cats! Pet Adoption Event and Family Fun Day

Pet Adoption Event and Family Fun Day at Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control

Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control will be hosting a pet adoption event and family fun day on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adopters will have the opportunity to name their own price for the pet they would like to adopt. The goal of the event is to bring awareness to the county shelter and find loving homes for as many animals as possible.

Festivities will include a lure course provided by the Purpose Driven Pup, paw print painting station for pets courtesy of Barkey Pines Animal Sanctuary, shelter playgroup featuring adoptable dogs, a prize wheel, food trucks, tours of the shelter, and special adoption incentives for the day.

Adopters will be able to name their own price for their new pet. All adoptions will include spaying or neutering of the animal, vaccinations, license tag, microchip, follow up visit with a local veterinarian, free leash and collar, and much more! Staff and volunteers will be on site to help potential adopters find their perfect match.
