Martin County Fire Rescue
Two people died and a third was flown to Lawnwood Medical Center following a fiery crash on I-95 in Martin County Saturday night.
The accident happened approximately 9:30 p.m in the Southbound lanes of I-95 just north of the 106 rest area.
A vehicle traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lanes and caused a head-on collision with another vehicle.
For hours,I-95 southbound was closed down and troopers were re-routing traffic to Martin Highway, as they worked the scene.
