Detectives are Investigating a Homicide – 5500 block of Lake Shore Village Circle, Lake Worth
PBSO deputy patrolling in the area was flagged down by an individual requesting assistance with a welfare check to his parents’ home. Upon arrival the deputy walked around the residence and heard what he believed to be a male yelling for help. The deputy was able to find a door to enter through. Once inside the deputy located a female deceased and a male needing medical assistance. Deputy also located a male (known to both victims) sitting quietly in the living room. The injured victim was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released. The male/suspect was taken to jail.
The suspect has been identified as Thomas Schnieders, DOB: 5/09/66. He is scheduled to attend first appearance this morning.
