After months in dry-dock, the Port of Palm Beach’s casino gambling cruise, Blue Horizon Casino Cruises, is sailing again.
The tables, cards, slots and chips are set and waiting for people to take a gamble, but this time, the cruise line says it’s much different than past cruises that have gone bust.
Blue Horizon Casino Cruises left the port last July for maintenance work. The repairs were supposed to take just a few weeks, but ended up taking months as the ship received a $2-million overhaul.
CBS 12 reports that the port lost out on thousands of dollars in parking revenue while the boat was in dry dock. Luckily, the cruise line prepaid 400-thousand dollars in fees to the port.
