All Aboard Florida
All Aboard Florida is still waiting for approval to begin building in Indian River County.
The Army Corp of Engineers sent a letter to All Aboard Florida earlier this month, informing them that they would not approve their permits until it gets more information on the impact of the project to federal waterways. The Army Corp of Engineers wont consider the permits until the environmental review has been completed.
This has bolstered those who are opposed to the rail project.
The Indian River County Commission voted yesterday to hire special legal help to possibly fight All Aboard Florida quote “on a new front”.
Martin County also has an ongoing legal battle against All Aboard Florida.
