Bank of America
An ATM skimmer was found in Port St Lucie over the weekend.
According to the Port St Lucie Police department, a man put his card into the machine at the Bank of America on St Lucie West Blvd Sunday evening and noticed that his card went into the machine further than usual. That caused him to examine the reader a little closer, and he realized there was a skimmer attached to the machine.
Officers removed the skimmer and a camera set above the keypad.
It’s unclear if this is related to the five skimmers recently found at different Bank of America locations throughout Indian River County earlier this month.
