Hundreds were without power along the Treasure Coast on Saturday.
FPL officials say that most of those affected were in Martin County, where more than 1,500 customers lost power.
There were an additional 900 customers without power in St Lucie and Indian River Counties combined.
FPL said that the high winds on Saturday were likely to blame.
Most customers got their power back by early Saturday evening.
