A man found out the hard way that’s it’s getting harder and harder to hide from law enforcement in Martin County.

36-year old Paul Alvin Miller was wanted on a violation of probation warrant out of Monroe County. So he did his best to stay off the grid, and away from law enforcement. But his run from the law came to an end last week when the Martin County Sheriff’s Office was tipped off to his whereabouts.

With the help of MCSO’s Air 1, Miller was back on the radar, in a way he never anticipated. The pilots spotted the vehicle Miller was said to be traveling in. With sky eyes set on Miller, deputies were able to get in position so that Miller drove right into their arms.

Miller has a history of dropping out of sight, but had no chance of disappearing this time.

He surrendered without incident and will be extradited to Monroe County to face his charges.
