Human Remains Found in North Indian River County
Deputies and detectives from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of human remains found in a wooded area near Roseland Road and U.S. 1 in northern Indian River County. The initial report came in to the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:00AM this morning. The remains are reportedly largely skeletonized and were located in an area frequented by the homeless. Our Forensic Services Unit will be working in conjunction with detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office as the investigation continues.
