Domestic Dispute Ends in Arrest
A 23 year old man is jailed on drugs and weapons charges. Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a domestic dispute on SE Golden Gate Avenue Monday night.
The man and woman were separated.
Deputies say Ervin Dampier was carrying a bag under his arm. Further investigation revealed drugs and a gun stolen from Jupiter last year. Dampier told deputies he bought the gun from someone in Palm Beach County because he was concerned someone was trying to kill him.
He was arrested, charged and taken to the Martin County Jail.
