Two motorcyclists from Palm Beach County died Sunday afternoon after their motorcycle hit a truck.
The accident occurred on Southeast Dixie Highway at Southeast Winged Foot Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Scot Brian Fertig, 58, of West Palm Beach, was southbound at 2:20 p.m. on Southeast Dixie Highway when he crossed into northbound traffic, hitting the front end of a Toyota Tundra truck driven by Jonathan Rivera, 22, of Hobe Sound.
Fertig and a passenger on the motorcycle, Dianne Denise Resinkoff, 42, of Lake Worth, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
An investigation into the accident is continuing.
