Orlando police shooter still at large
At least three people have been arrested in connection but Orlando police shooter is still at large. Markeith Loyd.
Zarghee Mayan
, Lakensha Smith-Loyd, and Jameis Slaughter were arrested for helping Loyd evade arrest.
Deputies said Mayan has seen Loyd multiple times since he fatally shot his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sade Dixon, in Pine Hills on Dec. 13. Mayan allegedly gave Loyd money and food in the days after Dixon’s murder.
Mayan and Smith-Loyd were charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Officials have not yet said what charges Slaughter will be facing.
The OCSO continues to works tirelessly to arrest murder suspect Markeith Loyd.
