SUSPECTED BURGLAR RUNS AFOUL
Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a suspicious incident on SW Pine Lane in Palm City this morning. The resident said she returned home from walking the dog to find her front door open, with noises coming from inside the home.
Fearing that there was a burglar inside, she called 911. Deputy Becky Brady and Deputy Erick Day entered the home and immediately located the suspect.
Deputy Brady advised that the suspect tried to duck out on her several times, but they were able to apprehend him without rattling any feathers. Despite a fowl attitude, the uninvited house guest was released and not charged. Another MCSO case quacked.
