Stuart Police are fishing for the identity of a burglar
Stuart Police are fishing for the identity of a burglar. Around 1:00am Friday morning the local bait store Tackle for Less off of Federal Highway was burglarized. The security camera footage shows a late 90’s model Buick Park Avenue pull in front of the business. You will see a male exit the vehicle and break into the store. If you know the identity of this suspect, contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS. If your tip results in an arrest, you would be eligible for a cash reward.

What could be worse than severe economic loss from the Okeechobee Discharges? A low life burglar breaking into your already struggling business… On Friday, at 12:10 am, a low life criminal decided to pay us a visit. Please watch the video.
Here are the facts and my observations: He arrives in a 1998-2000 Buick LeSabre (Tan or Gold in color). His 1998-2000 Buick LeSabre (Tan or Gold in color) has a missing hood ornament.
The “dirt bag” appears to be a white male, early to mid 20’s, dark hair, 5’8 – 6’ tall, 140-165 pounds. He was wearing a Grey Hoodie, Dark Pants w/ a belt (undershirt tucked in), sporting a chain style wallet/right rear pocket, black Nike tennis shoes with a reflective swoosh. He was wearing gloves and a white plastic mask covering his ugly mug. He was right handed.
He broke out the front door window by throwing a pad lock against the glass, entered the store and went immediately to the cash drawer hoping for a big pay day. LOL. Sorry no money ! You can blame Governor Scott and his Lake O discharges for that one! He left empty handed, entered his vehicle and drove south on US 1.
If you know this creep or have any information please contact the Stuart Police Department or the Shop. I would sincerely like to treat him to an all expenses paid offshore fishing trip.
Please share with your friends and find this creep!
