St. Lucie Transit Extending Hours to Include Nights and Saturdays
FORT PIERCE – Starting Tuesday, March 1, bus route hours for the Treasure Coast Connector will be extended into the evening, along with added Saturday service for the fixed routes 1, 2 and 3.
St. Lucie County’s Transit Division of Community Services, in collaboration with the Federal Transit Administration, the Florida Department of Transportation and the Council of Aging of St. Lucie, Inc./Community Transit, now offers extended hours on Route 1 (U.S. 1), Route 2 (North Fort Pierce) and Route 3 (South Fort Pierce). The new weekday hours are 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., while Saturday service is from 8 a.m. – noon and 1 – 4 p.m.
